The Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services brought another innovation to the School Support Project, which was initiated within the scope of the Social and Economic Support (SIA) service. The Ministry is establishing an online consultancy line in provincial directorates where children to be supported under the School Support Project will be followed.

The School Support Project, which was implemented in order to raise awareness among families in need who benefit from the SIA service of the Ministry and to provide children with opportunities to use their time out of school efficiently, continues at home under the supervision of families, taking into account the measures taken during the pandemic process.

Online Counseling Line for Families

The Ministry has implemented a new study to increase the effectiveness of the School Support Project, which is continued at homes for students who attend their schools remotely due to the epidemic. In this context, it establishes an online consultancy line where children to be supported under the School Support Project in provincial directorates will be followed.

First Implementation in Sivas

The application first started in Sivas. With the WhatsApp counseling line established by the Sivas Provincial Directorate of Family Labor and Social Services, the questions of the children and their families who benefit from the School Support Project, if any, their requests are received online by experts and provided with guidance. Efforts are underway for the implementation of the consultancy service to be provided on the said line in other provinces.
