Karamürsel Bridge Interchange Opened to Yalova Direction to Traffic

The Karamürsel Crossing of the D-130 Highway, which is one of the important routes of intercity passenger and logistics transportation, at the Karamürsel City Square Bridge Junction built by the Metropolitan Municipality, the northern side road was opened to vehicle traffic after the south side road. Lighting works on the 900-meter north side road, which provides vehicle traffic in Yalova direction, have also been completed.

CONCRETE CRUSHING WORKS CONTINUE

Within the scope of the works carried out, at the Karamürsel crossing of the D-130 Highway, the southern side road was opened to Izmit and the northern side road to Yalova direction. At the Karamürsel City Square Bridge Crossroad, built by the Metropolitan Municipality, the demolition works of the concrete remaining from the old road continue. After the concrete crushing operations, 19 thousand cubic meters of approximately 296 thousand trucks of excavation will be excavated in the excavation works for the construction of the sunken-output tunnel with a closed section of 10 meters wide and 10 meters.

IMPORTANT ROUTE

At the Karamürsel City Square Köprülü Junction, 1.600 meters 2 × 2 lane main road, 900 meters north; 900 kilometers of road will be built, including 2 side roads, 310 meters south, and 3.70 meters connection road. When the works are completed, intercity transportation will also be relieved in Karamürsel, which is one of the important routes of intercity passenger and logistics transportation.
