HİSAR-A + air defense missile system successfully completed the final acceptance test before entering the inventory.

In the statement made by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, it was stated that the final acceptance test of Hisar-A +, our first national and domestic air defense system developed by ASELSAN and ROKETSAN, was carried out. The HİSAR-A + air defense missile system is expressed as an "enlarged" version of Hisar-A. HİSAR-A + has more advanced capabilities in terms of range and altitude.

Regarding the test shots, President Erdoğan said, “The last test was delayed for a few months. An embargo was imposed on a part that was normally supplied from abroad. What happened then? We made the local part in a short time and integrated it into our missile and we reached the result. " made statements.

The final acceptance test of the HİSAR-A + air defense missile system, our first national and domestic air defense missile system developed by ASELSAN and ROKETSAN in coordination with the Defense Industry Presidency (SSB), was performed before entering the inventory.

ROKETSAN Chairman of the Board Prof. Dr. Faruk Yiğit, in October 2020, mentioning that ROKETSAN manufactures approach sensors with its own means, “Basically, what we have done is changing the structure of the approach sensor (HSS used) we previously provided from abroad and started to produce it ourselves. Because in some matters, we need to be as independent as possible in order to use our products easily. So essentially we are developing our own RF proximity sensor and we will use them in our final product and hopefully this will happen by the end of the year. " he said

HİSAR A + and O + will be delivered

Explaining that their range and capabilities were increased to A + and O + levels regarding the question posed about the HİSAR Air Defense System, Prof. Dr. Yiğit said, “At first, we developed the demands of the force further, because in this process, your target set also improves its capabilities, so you should not be behind. Therefore, we are planning to deliver the product with increased range and altitude as HİSAR-A +, not HİSAR-A, but at both HİSAR-A and HİSAR O. We no longer talk about HİSAR-A and HİSAR-O, we think of it as A + and O + plus, of course, we have works to fill the gaps before additional HİSAR-U (SUPER). " said.

HİSAR-A In Mass Production Process

In May 2020, İsmail Demir, regarding HİSAR Air Defense Missile Systems:

"We sent various units related to Hisar-O to the field. We can say that Hisar-O is on the field. The system is being placed. HİSAR-A is in the mass production process. " said . İsmail Demir also stated that the number of HİSAR-A was reduced because of the need for Hisar-O rather than HİSAR-A, and HİSAR-A was converted to HİSAR-O.

It is a Low Altitude Air Defense Missile System developed by ASELSAN to fulfill the task of neutralizing the threat at low altitude within the scope of point and regional air defense of troops and critical regions / points in order to meet the low altitude air defense needs of KKKlığı.
