HAVELSAN Advanced Technologies Center, which is a part of HAVELSAN's vision for the future, was opened with a ceremony held in Gebze Informatics Valley on December 14, 2020.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the center that will operate in Gebze Informatics Valley to develop new generation technologies, HAVELSAN General Manager Dr. Mehmet Akif Nacar announced that they have included 90 of the 24 companies within the IT Valley in the HAVELSAN business ecosystem, and by 2021, negotiations will begin with 56 new companies that have recently joined the Informatics Valley.
Nacer, established in Informatics Valley and TUBITAK TÜSSİDE partnership, an executive in the IT Valley assumed by Turkey's HAVELSAN, the Open Source Platform "founding member" recalling that, "In this way, increase the number of developers in the open source software ecosystem will be created and exportable software products to contribute to the development we aim ”he said.
Nacar stated that the Informatics Valley management invited HAVELSAN to the Informatics Valley Mobility Based Agriculture Cluster as the "Technology Leader"; He said, "We continue our talks to contribute to cooperation and coordination with companies that will be included in the Agricultural Cluster in drone, IoT, robotic autonomous systems, artificial intelligence and similar technologies."

Stating that the most important criterion of the technology development process is cooperation, Mushroom said, “One of our reasons for existence in the Informatics Valley is to work closely and cooperate with the ecosystem here. "If we are developing a product with an ecosystem company, it should be developed only for the needs of HAVELSAN, so that it can be sold to the whole world."

With the opening of the HAVELSAN Advanced Technologies Center, an important power will be added to our region ”.
In his speech, Informatics Valley General Manager Serdar İbrahimcioğlu said, "We are happy that HAVELSAN, one of the favorite institutions of our national defense industry, has opened an Advanced Technologies Center in the Informatics Valley as an important step of the works carried out with the motto of the National Technology Move.
