Bursa City Hospital Rail System Works Start

Field studies are starting on the Labor - City Hospital Rail System Line, which was designed by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality in order to provide uninterrupted access to the City Hospital and the tender was completed by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş, who examined the route with Yalçın Eyigün, General Manager of Infrastructure Investments of the Ministry of Transport and his team, said that mapping and ground drilling studies have started.

With a total bed capacity of 6 in 355 different hospitals within its structure, Bursa City Hospital, which has taken the burden of health services in Bursa significantly during the pandemic process, has now been reached for the Labor - City Hospital Rail System Line, which was designed by the Metropolitan Municipality to ensure uninterrupted transportation. The tender for the 6.1-kilometer 4-station line, which was transferred to the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure with the decision of the Council of Ministers, was held on 27 October and the partnership of Söğüt İnşaat - Taşyapı İnşaat won the tender. Yalçın Eyigün, General Manager of Infrastructure Investments of the Ministry of Transport, came to Bursa with the accompanying delegation to examine the project area before the project, which the people of Bursa are eagerly waiting for. General Manager Eyigün and his delegation, together with Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş, examined the route of the new line, which will be extended from Bursaray Emek Line to the City Hospital.

Of course, during these studies, we will cause some disturbance to the environment, but we will also minimize them. There is a 42-month forecast for the duration of the work, but I believe that the process will be brought forward with the effort to be shown.
