The Minimum Wage Determination Commission, consisting of workers, employers and government representatives, convened for the second time within the scope of the negotiations to determine the minimum wage to be valid in 2021.

At the meeting, our country's targets and forecasts for 2021, economic events occurring in 2020, social developments, global and economic conjuncture, domestic and foreign trade data were discussed. The reports prepared by the representatives of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the Ministry of Commerce and TURKSTAT were presented. The third meeting of the commission will be held online on 22 December, hosted by TÜRK-İŞ.
In order to determine the minimum wage for 2021, the Minimum Wage Determination Commission held its first meeting on December 4, chaired by the Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services, Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk.
