The Minimum Wage Determination Commission, consisting of workers, employers and government representatives, convened for the second time within the scope of the negotiations to determine the minimum wage to be valid in 2021.

The commission convened under the chairmanship of Nurcan Önder, General Director of Labor of the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services, TİSK Secretary General Akansel Koç in the employers 'delegation, and Nazmi Irgat, Türk-İş General Education Secretary in the workers' delegation.

At the meeting, our country's targets and forecasts for 2021, economic events occurring in 2020, social developments, global and economic conjuncture, domestic and foreign trade data were discussed. The reports prepared by the representatives of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the Ministry of Commerce and TURKSTAT were presented. Turkey Confederation of Employer Associations (TISK) by the disclosure was made.

The third meeting of the commission will be held online on 22 December, hosted by TÜRK-İŞ.

In order to determine the minimum wage for 2021, the Minimum Wage Determination Commission held its first meeting on December 4, chaired by the Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services, Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk.
