4 overpasses located on Atatürk Boulevard in Süleymanpaşa District of Tekirdağ were completely renewed and put into service as a result of the works.
Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality Department of Surveys and Projects, which completed the maintenance and repair works initiated with the aim of creating more durable and aesthetic pedestrian areas and overpasses in a short time, within the scope of the revision works carried out on the overpasses, The bad images caused by ground deterioration and decay were rehabilitated and renewed. Iron parts were completely painted. Old and rusted materials were replaced with new ones, and overpasses were covered with Polycarbon material to make them more comfortable and modern.
Stating that they have renewed the overpasses on Atatürk Boulevard and put them into service, Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Kadir Albayrak said, “With sustainable renewal and rehabilitation processes, we have made pedestrian overpasses become more modern by saving their old appearance. Our teams, who carried out their work with great care, turned the overpasses into spaces that can be used safely and appeal to the eyes. Good luck to our citizens.
