Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Dr. Bekir Pakdemirli announced the support to be given by the Ministry for the raw milk recommended sale price announced by the National Milk Council. Pakdemirli “The National Milk Council announced the recommended raw milk sales price for January 2021 - April as 2.80 TL / Lt. Raw milk support will be applied as 30 kurus by our Ministry in the same period. Thus, we will ensure that the parity remains above 30 with this raw milk recommended sale price and 1,30 kurus raw milk support ”.
ESK Increases Carcass Purchase Prices
Minister Pakdemirli gave good news not only to milk producers, but also to cattle producers.
Minister Pakdemirli stated that the carcass purchase prices in the markets are below the cattle production costs of our producers; “Meat and Milk Authority increased carcass purchase prices as of Monday, 14.12.2020, in order to eliminate the grievances of the producers; Accordingly, the purchase price of imported carcasses from 33 KG / TL to 35 KG / TL; The domestic origin carcass purchase price was increased from 34 KG / TL to 36 KG / TL ”.
