Various measures are taken to reduce the negative effects of the new type of coronavirus (Kovid-19) epidemic on the commercial life of our country. In this context, the procedures and principles regarding the grant support program to be given to tradesmen and craftsmen and real person merchants whose commercial activities are adversely affected have been determined.
The support package for tradesmen, craftsmen and real person merchants who were adversely affected by the COVID-19 epidemic was announced by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan after the Cabinet meeting on 14 December 2020.
In this context, the Presidential Decree on Support to be Provided to Tradesmen and Craftsmen and Real Person Merchants due to the Coronavirus Outbreak, numbered 3323, was published in the Official Gazette on December 23, 2020 and entered into force.
As per the decision; A direct income support of 1.000 Turkish Liras in total, 3.000 Turkish Liras per month, and 750 Turkish Liras per month in metropolitan cities and 500 Turkish Liras per month in other provinces will be given to the people affected by the epidemic.
However, with the Communiqué on the Grant Support Program to be given due to the Coronavirus Outbreak and its Implementation Principles published in the Official Gazette on December 24, 2020, the procedures and principles regarding the granting of the said grant supports were determined by our Ministry.
Accordingly, the economic activity descriptions of our tradesmen and craftsmen who can benefit from grant support due to their main activities, as well as those whose commercial earnings are taxed in a simple way and tax-exempt tradesmen, have been presented to the public as a list in the annex.
On the other hand, support applications that can be made via e-government are expected to begin in the first week of January.
