December Unemployment Pay and Short Work Payments to be Made on January 5th; Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services, announced that the unemployment and short-time work payments for December will be deposited into accounts on January 5.
Minister Selçuk reminded that with the decision published in the Official Gazette on December 23, the deadline for new applications, which resumed as of December 1, 2020, was extended until January 31, 2021, within the scope of the short-work application due to coronavirus.
"Payments for December will be made on January 5, 2021"
Reminding that the payments will be deposited into bank accounts and citizens who do not have IBAN information will be paid via PTT, Selçuk said, "We will deposit unemployment and short-time work allowance payments into accounts on January 5, 2021".
