The C919 large passenger plane, developed by Chinese engineers, started trial flights in cold weather in the Hulunbuir region of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the north of the country. The aircraft landed at Hulunbuir's international Dongshan Airport on Friday, December 25, to test the performance of its systems and equipment in extremely cold weather.

The flight crews of the manufacturer, Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, announced that the aircraft is benefiting from multiple airports in different regions by conducting coordinated trial flights.

In this context, Hulunbuir became a location chosen for trial flights. Because this city is known for its cold climate that drops to minus 25 degrees Celsius in winter. The city in question also has the opportunity to host many other equipment manufacturers who want to perform tests in very cold weather, thanks to its climate.
