The Akhisar Ring Road, attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan with a live connection, was opened with a ceremony held on Saturday, December 12. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu, General Manager of Highways Abdulkadir Uraloğlu and officials were present at the ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan; He stated that the last 4,3 kilometers of the ring road, the previously completed parts of which were gradually opened, were put into service. Emphasizing that the country's divided road length exceeds 81 thousand kilometers to encompass all of 27 provinces and 410 tunnels were built on these roads, Erdoğan said, "The biggest source of joy and pride for us is to open works and investments that will serve our nation."

Stating that thanks to the route opened, the time for passing the city to the city is reduced by half, 56 million lira from time and 6 million lira from fuel will be saved. He congratulated everyone who contributed to the construction of the road and wished Akhisar Ring Road to be beneficial to our country.

Speaking at the opening, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu said, “While the Akhisar Ring Road makes the city breathe by reducing the carbon dioxide emission due to the exhaust emission; "It will make transportation safe, comfortable and fast."

The minister stated that divided roads save on vehicle operating costs, increase travel comfort, and the average speed on divided roads has been increased from 40 km to 88 km; He emphasized that the industry and agriculture are supported by projects that have lifted our country in terms of life safety, comfort, speed and access.

Following the speeches, the opening ribbon was cut with the wishes of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who participated in the ceremony with a live connection, and the road was opened to the use of citizens.

Akhisar Ring Road, built within the scope of the transportation needs of Akhisar, which has a heavy transit and urban traffic load, is 13,1 km long. Within the scope of the ring road in the 2 × 2 lane, bituminous hot mixture coated split road standard, there are 5 intersections, 1 of which have different levels, 6 of which are modern roundabouts, and 3 bridges, 3 of which are double and 6 of which are single.

With the completion of the Akhisar Ring Road, which was built in order to relieve the traffic density in the Akhisar city crossing and increase the transportation standard; By separating transit traffic from urban traffic, uninterrupted flow of transit traffic has been achieved.
