Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality carries out periodic maintenance and repairs of stairs and elevators in overpasses throughout the city. In the first stage, 16 escalators at Turgut Özal, Adnan Menderes, Mimar Sinan and Çayırova Overpasses will be renewed in order to provide more comfortable service to citizens, all safety equipment and mechanical parts.
WORK ON THE ADNAN MENDERES OVERPASS
In the Adnan Menderes Overpass, located in the center of Izmit, the maintenance and modernization of the south direction escalators will be started on Thursday, December 31st. As part of the works, the escalators in the south direction will be closed for 15 days.
WORKING STATUS INFORMATION WILL BE SHARED
Information on when the other overpass escalators, for which the revision process has started, will be closed and when they will open, will be made in the upcoming days.
