Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality has implemented the HES Code in transportation in order to use public transportation more safely and to minimize the risk of contamination. Thanks to the HES code, those who attempt to use public transportation at risk are blocked and reported to the Ministry of Health.
In accordance with the circular titled "HEPP Code Inquiry in Urban Public Transportation" issued by the Ministry of Interior, the 'Transportation with HES Code' service was launched in Kayseri within the scope of the transactions of matching public transport cards with Hayat Eve Sığar (HES) codes.
In this context, as of December 1, passengers are boarding public transportation vehicles with cards matching the HES codes, while those who attempt to use public transportation at risk are prevented and reported to the Ministry of Health.
While 845 thousand card holders of the 287 thousand people who currently use public transportation in the city and whose cards show mobility have been matching the HES Code, the cards of the card holders who do not match the HES code have been closed to public transportation until they are matched.
Transportation Inc. officials reminded that those who actively use their cards must match them in order to avoid victimization, otherwise they cannot get on public transport.
