What about non citizens, can they use istanbulkart?
I can't seem to register my details as a foreigner since the system requires you to enter a Turkish ID or Foreign National ID Number that is issued when someone gets a residence card. The problem is that I recently applied for the TRC and I have not been issued the card yet (apparently around 3 months long process at the moment). In the absence of a Foreign National ID Number, how can a foreigner register him / her self in the system to keep using the public transport beyond 15 Jan 2021?

The problem is that I recently applied for a Temporary Residence Permit and I haven't received my card or Foreign National Identity Number yet (a process that currently takes about 3 months). In the absence of a Foreign National Identification Number, how can a foreigner register himself in the system in order to continue using public transport after 15 January 2021?
