Cıngı, who said that the world agenda has been shaken by the Pandemic for about 9 months and that the whole world has given a very serious test on how to combat this evil disease and that very intensive work has been done, “We hope that we will have a very good and busy season this year as Erciyes Ski Center. we do. Due to the pandemic, the former Soviet market, which will not be able to go to Alpine countries and cannot visit these countries within the scope of measures such as limitation of airspace and travel barriers, came to Erciyes with great interest. Foreign tourists will come from abroad with 10 planes. Most of these are leased planes, which we call charters. In addition, it was put on scheduled flights from Kiev, Odessa, Moscow to Kayseri. In other words, a citizen of Kayseri will be able to buy his ticket and go to Moscow or Kiev or Odessa with a direct flight. These developments are very important milestones for our city.
This development is the result of Erciyes Tourism Center. You also follow closely. Erciyes A.Ş., while carrying out its promotion and marketing activities in the country since it started operations in the winter of 2012, has not neglected abroad. We reached many parts of the world, participated in fairs, and carried out intensive marketing activities especially in former Soviet countries such as Russia, Ukraine and Poland. With the partners there, we have also succeeded in bringing foreign tourists to Erciyes with charter flights since 2017. Thanks to this increase and the interest in Erciyes, the international airlines of those countries have started to bring guests to Kayseri with direct scheduled flights. This year was recorded as an important development.”
SAFE BUSINESS CERTIFICATE RECEIVED FOR ALL BUSINESSES
Reminding that the first degree concerns of future guests are the covid pandemic, Cıngı said, “We have taken pandemic measures here that will make both our local and foreign guests happy and feel themselves in a safe environment. During the summer, fortunately, we took our measures in the fight against the Pandemic in Erciyes, within the framework of our government's decisions, as envisaged by our state. Of course, it will not be enough for us to make the ski resort safe, because the guests will spend time in restaurants and cafes, rent skis from ski rental shops and shop. Therefore, as it is a social area, we led all our businesses on the mountain to obtain safety certificates. We held meetings over and over. Under the leadership of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, Department of Environmental Protection, we also got all of our enterprises safe operation certificates. "Our hotels have already received the safe tourism certificates within the scope of the sanctions applied by our Ministry of Tourism."
Stating that they will give new good news in a short time, Cıngı said, “Our efforts to create a 360 degree safe environment in Erciyes have almost been concluded. We applied from the International Standard Companies with the documents that will register Erciyes as a safe ski resort, and we hope that it will be concluded in a short time.
KOVID 19 OBSERVATION ROOMS ESTABLISHED
Later, Erciyes A.Ş. Zafer Akşehirlioğlu, Deputy General Manager, made a presentation on the pandemic measures taken at Erciyes Ski Center. Stating that Erciyes, which has become the flagship of winter tourism, will provide ski lovers with a safe and healthy holiday by taking all the precautions in the process of combating Kovid-19, Akşehirlioğlu said: “State-of-the-art facilities, transportation facilities, tracks at international standards, modern social and accommodation facilities. With Erciyes Ski Center, the most preferred destination by local and foreign tourists stands out. Our gondolas and cable cars have been disinfected since March. Fever measurements and controls are carried out, and since then, our mask requirement still continues. We provide natural ventilation in our gondolas, hand disinfectants and warning warnings have been placed for our guests, since boarding and landing is different, and disinfection is carried out after our guests descend from each gondola. We have created Kovid 19 observation rooms, in case of any suspicious situation, we take it into this room and direct our healthcare teams there. "
