According to the data of public enterprises reports published by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the total loss of TCDD has reached 5 billion TL in the last 11,7 years and 10 billion TL in the last 17,3 years.
DEBT RISE TO 7,3 BILLION TL
While TCDD's revenues increased by 2019 percent in 34,4 compared to the previous year, it increased to 1 billion 183 million TL, while the cost of sales increased by 21,1 percent to 2 billion 831 million TL. When the operating expenses of 853 million TL are added, TCDD's operational loss in 2019 reached 2 billion 503 million TL.
The financial expense of the institution for 2019 was announced as 341 million TL.
TCDD's total debt also increased from 6,5 billion TL to 7,3 billion TL.
The number of personnel of the organization reached 2019 thousand 240 in 14, with a decrease of 23 compared to the previous year.
2019 BILLION TL TRANSFER FROM THE BUDGET IN 10,6
The money transferred from the central government budget in 2019 to cover the investment expenditures and losses of TCDD reached 10,6 billion TL.
In this context, the resource transferred to TCDD from the budget has reached 5 billion TL in the last 39,7 years and 10 billion TL in the last 60,7 years.
2019 BILLION TL INVESTMENT IN 6,4
Investment expenditures of the organization in 2019 were 6,4 billion TL. The total investment expenditures reached 5 billion TL in the last 27,8 years and 10 billion TL in the last 42,6 years.
