We renew Turkey's largest railway modernization project with a 431-kilometer Samsun, Sivas, all the infrastructure and superstructure of the railway. Within the scope of Samsun-Sivas line renovation works, we strengthened 42 of 17 historical bridges, restored all bridges, rebuilt 37 bridges, improved 12 tunnels, built 19 passenger stops, 30 technical buildings, 12 culverts, 121 level crossings. we ensured the security. We completed one road overpass, 6 overpasses, one pedestrian underpass. We carried out the design and manufacture of traffic control, signalization in 431 stations and one remote management center on a 29-kilometer line. With the signaling system installed on our line, our capacity has doubled, our renewed line has become much more comfortable, safe and secure. "

Pointing out that Samsun-Sivas railway line is the gateway of the Black Sea to Anatolia with freight and passenger transportation, Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “Thus, logistics transportation in the north-south corridor will gain momentum. Our renewed railway line has decreased from 8 hours 50 minutes to 5 hours and 45 minutes. Nearly 3 million people in Sivas, Tokat, Amasya and Samsun provinces will be able to travel more comfortably, economically and quickly. " he spoke.
