Speaking at the Kahramanmaraş 7th Ordinary Provincial Congress, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that the line that will connect Kahramanmaraş with the high-speed train with the Mersin, Adana, Osmaniye and Gaziantep high-speed train line passing through Nurdağı is coming to an end.
Stating that they implemented 4 thousand 119 housing projects in Kahramanmaraş through TOKİ, Erdoğan said that they increased the length of the divided road from 73 kilometers to 339 kilometers.
Expressing that they will officially open the Kahramanmaraş-Göksun road project, which is of great importance for the city today after the congress, Erdoğan said, “Today, we are holding the opening ceremony of the entire 64-kilometer road, whose previously completed parts are gradually opened to traffic. I wish this road, which has 11 tunnels, 2 viaducts, 3 bridges, 6 crossroads on its route, will be beneficial for our country, region and city. This route, which serves as a crossroads connecting the Southeastern Anatolia, Central Anatolia and Black Sea regions, is also of great importance for our economy. We gave beautiful names for the tunnels and the road on the road, worthy of Kahramanmaraş. I hope I will explain them at the opening ceremony. " he spoke.
Stating that they will complete the Göksun-Kayseri border, Göksun-Elbistan, Kahramanmaraş-Nurdağı and Narlı-Pazarcık-Elazığ border road next year, Erdoğan stated that they will complete the east-west axis by making the Elbistan-Malatya border road.
