According to the news of Selami Aydın from SÖZCÜ; A contract was signed with the contractor company for the 11-kilometer highway to be built between Aydın and Denizli and whose tender was postponed 163 times for various reasons. AKP Group Deputy Chairman and Denizli Deputy Cahit Özkan announced the news on his social media account.

The construction of the Aydın-Denizli highway, which is the second phase of the Izmir-Antalya 'Tourism Road' main project and which exporter businessmen in Denizli want to be completed as soon as possible, will begin. It was announced that a contract was signed with Fernas İnşaat, the contractor firm, in the project, whose tender was postponed 11 times for various reasons.

WARRANTY AGAIN

Fernas İnşaat, which gave the best bid among 3 companies, undertook the project, whose tender, which was postponed many times, on July 6. It is stated that the project amount can reach 7 billion liras. It was claimed that the General Directorate of Highways gave the contractor firm a daily pass guarantee of 35 thousand vehicles and the toll was priced at 5 cents / Euro per kilometer for the project that was tendered with the build-operate-transfer model.

TO BE COMPLETED IN 2022

AKP Denizli Deputy Cahit Özkan said in his social media post, which he announced that a contract was signed with the company, that the road will be completed in 2022 and will be put into service. Within the scope of the project, which consists of 140 kilometers of main roads and 23 kilometers of connection roads, many facilities are planned to be built along the route.
