The Name of Kahramanmaraş Göksun Road Has Been Determined As 'The Literary Path'

Kahramanmaraş-Göksun-Kayseri Road was put into service with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu, General Director of Highways Abdulkadir Uraloğlu and officials on Saturday, November 7.

We are officially opening the entire Kahramanmaraş-Göksun Road, which opens to traffic gradually. This road, which is 64,1 kilometers in total, has 11 tunnels, 2 viaducts, 3 bridges and 6 crossroads. In this way, we save 130,3 million lira in total annually ”.

President Erdogan; He added that the 4 billion 671 million lira road will merge with the Kayseri, Kahramanmaraş and Gaziantep State Road and carry Kahramanmaraş to a much different point.

Adil Karaismailoğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, on the route; He stated that by connecting the Central Black Sea coast and Central Anatolia Region to the Mediterranean ports via Kahramanmaraş, as well as to the Syrian border gates from Anatolia to the Middle Eastern countries, it will provide an easier and safer transportation opportunity.

Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “Today, we are happy to open a project that will add prosperity to Kahramanmaraş, which left a glorious mark in the history of the national struggle, and to the lives of its beautiful people. With the completed Kahramanmaraş-Göksun-Kayseri Road, we reduced the length of the road from 80 kilometers to 64 kilometers. As of today, our citizens will cover the distance they previously covered in 80 minutes in about 41 minutes, in half the time. With our project, we will ensure that our people who go to school, work, field, bring their products to the market, bring great convenience and save time ”.

After the speeches, President Erdoğan cut the opening ribbon and wished "good luck".

After the ceremony, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu took a short tour on the Literature Road, which was opened with the Presidential vehicle.
