Education Will Continue Inside Production

In cooperation with Eskişehir Chamber of Industry (ESO) and Anadolu University, Eskişehir Vocational School students will complete a significant part of their education in production. In this context, ESO President Celalettin Kesikbaş and Anadolu University Rector Prof. Dr. Fuat Erdal signed it.

With the protocol that allows Eskişehir Vocational High School students to complete the last semester of their 4-semester training at ESO member companies, the students will have the opportunity to blend theoretical knowledge with practice and have the opportunity to get to know the sector they are trained in more closely.

At the signing ceremony held in Eskişehir Chamber of Industry, ESO Vice Presidents Sinan Özeçoğlu, Fatih Düş, ESO Board Member Gürhan Albayrak and Anadolu University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Temizel, Director of Eskişehir Vocational School Prof. Dr. Aslı Afşar was also involved.

Speaking at the protocol ceremony, ESO President Celalettin Kesikbaş emphasized the importance of students being in touch with the industry while they are in education, and said, “Our young people should be trained as qualified individuals who know how to apply today's technologies. The fact that our young people, who will take part in the production of our country, do internships in our industrial facilities will open new horizons for them. "If we are going to compete with the world, we need an equipped generation."

Expressing that the protocol made is a serious step in the integration of the university and the city, Anadolu University Rector Prof. Dr. Fuat Erdal stated that by this means, social, cultural and economic value will be added to the city and students will have the opportunity to get to know business life. Erdal said, “The insurance of our students who are included in the 3 + 1 Education Model Workplace Training Application will be made by the university, and the companies will undertake the food and travel expenses of the students. "The program can be revised according to the course of the epidemic," he said.
