SAMSUN-SARP RAILWAY PROJECT

Turkey from 21-24 October at the Railway Summit held in Istanbul, Samsun hopes that we expect as a result of out-steep railway was related to the Project. There is a strong relationship between the development level of a region and the transportation network in that region. The Samsun-Sarp Railway Project to the Black Sea, the eastern end of the Central Black Sea, Turkey to the north of Samsun, Ordu, Giresun, Trabzon, Rize and Artvin provinces directly to the economy of the said province to neighboring provinces as interconnect will affect in a positive way. The common characteristic of the said provinces are beginning to arrive in this region of the province that most migration in Turkey. The conclusion of this project will make an important contribution to the solution of economic problems, especially employment. Reverse migration will begin thanks to the employment opportunities it will create. This situation will positively affect the provinces that attract migration in all aspects.

The passing of Samsun-Sarp Railway through Ordu and Giresun is of vital importance for our province and region.

BLACK SEA MEDITERRANEAN ROAD

The completion and opening of the Black Sea-Mediterranean road project, which was tendered in 2008, will directly affect our provinces of Ordu, Sivas, Kayseri, Kahramanmaraş and Hatay, while indirectly affecting 50 provinces. At the same time, the distance between Ordu and Mesudiye will decrease to one hour, with tunnels and viaducts to two hours, and the transportation between Ordu and Iskenderun will decrease to six seven hours. With the completion of the Black Sea-Mediterranean road project, our Ordu province will turn into a logistics center. Ordu will play an important role in exports to countries with a coast to the Black Sea. This situation, which will provide great convenience for the transportation of export products from the Mediterranean and Central Anatolia Region to the Black Sea, will also make a significant contribution to the country's economy. In addition, the products to be exported will be delivered to the countries on the Black Sea more easily by our industrialists. We supply and demand your support for the completion and opening of this project, which is the most valuable investment made in our city and region after Ordu-Giresun airport, at the end of this year.

ORDU PORT

As your Zat-Al is also aware of, our city is the only province with a coastline and no port. It is approximately 110 km from Gülyalı district to the borders of Terme district. Apart from the small ports that serve as a fisherman's shelter in our province with a coast, we do not have a harbor in Ünye that has a wider shelter structure and meets the needs of our city.

In terms of the provincial economy, which exports approximately 50 thousand tons of hazelnut kernels and exports a significant amount of clay kaolin and supplies approximately 300-350 thousand tons of MDF raw material, wood and fertilizer commodities by sea, a port that will provide both handling and tourism services is emerging as an urgent need.

With the opening of the Black Sea-Mediterranean double road to traffic, this port service has become more important for the shipment and export of the products of many cities such as Sivas, Kayseri, Kahramanmaraş, Gaziantep and Hatay to the Black Sea Region.

We await your appreciation, approval and support in this regard, and we supply and demand that the port investment be brought to our province as soon as possible. " His statements were included.
