Works continue without slowing down on the Karamürsel crossing of the D-130 Highway, which is one of the important routes of intercity passenger and logistics transportation, at the Karamürsel City Square Bridge Interchange built by the Metropolitan Municipality. With the bridge intersection project to be built in Karamürsel City Square, the city will gain integrity and the density caused by traffic lights will be eliminated.
10 THOUSAND TRUCKS EXCAVATION WILL BE TAKEN
Within the scope of the works carried out, vehicle traffic was transferred to the direction of Izmit on the south side road at the Karamürsel crossing of the D-130 Highway. On the north side road, after the completion of the pavement productions, Yalova direction will be opened to vehicle traffic shortly. After the vehicle traffic was given to the side roads, the crushing of the concrete remaining from the old road started. After the concrete crushing operations, 19 thousand cubic meters of approximately 296 thousand trucks of excavation will be excavated in the excavation works for the construction of the sunken-output tunnel with a closed section of 10 meters wide and 10 meters.
SIDE LIGHTING IS COMPLETED
Lighting works have also been completed on the side roads where traffic flows in the direction of Izmit and Yalova at the Karamürsel City Square Bridge Junction, where concrete crushing operations have started. 1.600 meters 2 × 2 lane main road, 900 meters north; 900 kilometers of road will be built, including 2 minor roads, 310 meters south, and 3.70 meters connection road. When the works are completed, intercity transportation will be relieved as well as urban traffic in Karamürsel, which is one of the important routes of intercity passenger and logistics transportation.
