Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services, stated that they brought forward the payments to meet the needs of families receiving Social and Economic Support Services in the region due to the earthquake in Izmir.
Minister Selçuk said that after the earthquake in İzmir, the teams were on the field 7/24 to meet the urgent needs of citizens and to provide psychosocial support services.
Providing information about the SED payments of earthquake victims, Selçuk said, “We brought the payments forward in order to meet the needs of families receiving Social and Economic Support in the region. In this context, we paid 5.700 million TL to the accounts of our 5,7 citizens ”.
Minister Selçuk stated that SED payments in other provinces other than İzmir will be deposited into accounts between 8-15 November 2020 and said, "We will make a payment of approximately 125 million TL for our 132 thousand children who benefit from SIA service."
