Safety and Security Cooperation between TCDD and ITU

TCDD General Director Ali Ihsan appropriate and ITU Rector on 13.11.2020 date in Istanbul Ismail Koyuncu "Istanbul Technical University with the Republic of Turkey State Railways Headquarters in Training-Consulting-Research Cooperation Protocol" was signed.

According to this protocol, which is a huge comprehensive agreement for the Safety and Security of Railways; A technological and scientific cooperation will be made in order to encourage and develop mutual cooperation and common understanding between ITU and TCDD, to contribute to the training and specialization of TCDD personnel, and to establish the Railway Safety and Security (UY-GAR) Center.

TCDD Deputy General Manager Metin Akbaş and ITU officials were present at the protocol signing ceremony.
