Minister Karaismailoğlu explained why they built the 1262-meter-long double-tube tunnel and then the 270-meter-long bridge in Nallıhan District of Ankara, although they have the means to build a divided road.
Adil Karaismaloğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, made observations on the Ankara-Yenikent-Ayaş-Beypazarı-Nallıhan Road. Karaismailoğlu said, “112 kilometers of the Ankara-Yenikent-Ayaş-Beypazarı-Nallıhan road was completed as a divided road. On the 5 kilometers, divided road construction continues. The 23-kilometer non-divided road between Nallıhan from where we are. I hope we have made the decision on this and started the tender process. The tunnel you see behind us is 1262 meters long and then consists of a 270 meter long double tube bridge. Of course, we could pass here as a divided road without building a tunnel, but we are building this tunnel to protect Nallıhan Bird Paradise. "It has been prepared with great devotion so that the birds and wildlife here are not affected."
Minister Karaismailoğlu made a series of visits and examinations in Nallıhan district of Ankara today. Minister Karaismailoğlu, who first visited the Nallıhan AK Party District Municipality, later met with the members of the AK Party District Office. Finally, Karaismailoğlu made important statements while making examinations at the Beypazarı-Çayırhan-Nallıhan Road construction site.

Underlining that they have increased the length of the divided road from 6 thousand kilometers to 28 thousand kilometers, Karaismailoğlu said, “18 years ago, when there was a 50-kilometer tunnel, we increased it to 600 kilometers. We increased our airports from 26 to 56. We increased the number of air passengers from 30 million to 210 million. A lot of unimaginable work has been done. These increasingly continue. In the coming years, we will continue to increase our great progress in the railway. Again, we continue to strengthen our existence in space. We launch our satellites into space. There, we make our power and existence felt to the whole world ”.

In addition, this place is located on the Aladağ stream, which is a branch of the Sarıyer Dam. Again, after completing the bridge and tunnel constructions here at the end of 2021 and making the tender on the missing 23-kilometer road, Ankara-Nallıhan will have a comfortable, safe and secure road and will add value to the value of the region.
