Noting that they have started to construct the Gayrettepe-Istanbul Airport subway, Karaismailoğlu said, “We are planning to open the Kağıthane - Airport route in April 2021 and the Gayrettepe - Airport route in December 2021. When they are completed, we will reduce the transportation to the airport by metro from both sides to less than half an hour. Another line of ours Halkalı-Istanbul Airport metro. Hopefully, when it is finished, our Istanbul Airport will be connected to the metro network from two directions, and the transportation quality and comfort will multiply.
