The details of the grant support to be given for the processing of agricultural products, the construction of new facilities, the completion of partially made investments, the capacity increase of existing facilities and technology renewal or modernization were determined.
The Communiqué of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry on Supporting Economic Investments Based on Agriculture within the Scope of Rural Development Supports was published in the Official Gazette.
The Communiqué, between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2025, for the investments of real and legal persons, primarily women and young entrepreneurs, in their agricultural-based economic activities in order to ensure economic and social development in rural areas, to improve agricultural and non-agricultural employment, to increase and differentiate incomes Includes the issues related to the grant payments to be made.
Accordingly, the processing, drying, freezing, packaging and storage of agricultural products, construction of new facilities, completion of partially made investments, capacity increase of existing facilities and technology renewal or modernization will be evaluated within the scope of grant supports.
In fixed investment issues for agricultural production, the construction of facilities that produce heat or electricity from geothermal and biogas from renewable energy sources and facilities that generate electricity from solar and wind energy will also be included in the grant support.
Within the scope of the program, all or some of the specified investment issues in 81 provinces will be determined by the Ministry according to the sectoral priorities of the provinces and will be announced before the application with the application and updated application guide to be published in October every year. Applications will be accepted within the scope of grant support.
FEATURES TO BE SEARCHED FOR APPLICANTS
Applicant real and legal persons will have to be registered in the Farmer Registration System (ÇKS) or other registration systems established by the Ministry before the deadline.
The legal entities applying for all investment projects will be administratively and financially independent from the public and will submit a letter of undertaking indicating that they are independent.
TOTAL AMOUNTS SUPPORTED TO THE GRANT
In economic investment issues, the base project amount for the grant, if the applicants are real persons, agricultural cooperatives and unions or legal entities, in the specified investment issues, 3 million lira for applications with new investment qualities, 2 million lira for applications with investment qualification, investment quality capacity In applications with increase, technology renewal or modernization, it will not exceed 1,5 million lira.
The lower limit of the base project amount for the grant was determined as 250 thousand TL. If the applications are accepted, grant support will be given to 50 percent of the base project amount for the grant.
All transactions made within the scope of the program will be inspected by the Ministry. All information and documents requested regarding the transactions made during these inspections will be presented to them by the provincial directorate.
