Making a great contribution to economic stability with the financial support it provides to businesses and individual customers during the pandemic process, Halkbank took another strong step in the fight against Covid-19.

Halkbank certifies that it applies high protection standards as a result of the studies carried out by referring to the directives of the Turkish Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization. The bank successfully completed the inspections carried out by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) in the Head Office buildings and acquired the Covid-19 Safe Service Certificate.

Stating that they aim to protect the bank's 82-year service quality by fighting against the risks that threaten public health, Halkbank General Manager Osman Arslan said:

“We have carried out a determined work since the first days of the pandemic in order to minimize the risk of transmission of the Covid-19 virus. We have developed very strict measures based on the guidelines of our Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization. It made us happy that the works we carried out in order to make both our employees and our visitors feel more secure in the Head Office service buildings, brought the Safe Service Certificate to our bank. TSE carried out detailed checks

Halkbank's studies based on the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization were audited by TSE. The adequacy of physical measures taken by TSE for measures against Covid-19 virus at the entrance and exit of buildings, dining areas, kitchens, sinks, service vehicles, meeting rooms, offices, elevators, common areas, ventilation and air conditioning systems. Audits were made for the healthy management of the Covid-19 outbreak, isolation of cases and possible cases, informing the employees and evaluating the psychological effects of the pandemic. After it was determined that the required qualifications were met, the Bank was entitled to receive the TSE-Covid 19 Safe Service Certificate.
