Cooperation between Sivas University of Science and Technology and HAVELSAN

Sivas University of Science and Technology continues to establish and develop cooperation in line with the goal of specializing in the field of Defense Industry. In this context, at the signing ceremony held in HAVELSAN, General Manager Dr. Mehmet Akif NACAR and Rector Prof. Dr. A goodwill agreement was signed between Mehmet KUL.

Having signed cooperation protocols with important defense industry organizations such as TÜBİTAK UZAY, TÜBİTAK SAGE, TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, TÜBİTAK MAM and TUSAŞ, the University signed a protocol with HAVELSAN, which was developed with domestic and national facilities. In this context, it is planning to work in many project areas by determining the opportunities and methods of working together in order to investigate the possibilities of working together and continue the work to be done.

With this agreement, academic staff and students will have the chance to take part in projects that will develop for domestic and national defense industry equipment. In addition, students will be able to take part in the developed projects, participate in R&D studies there and have the opportunity to do internships. Thus, important moves can be made in education, research, project and production. Benefiting from the experiences of HAVELSAN in line with the specialization targets in the field of University Defense Industry; It intends to carry out R&D activities that could be beneficial to HAVELSAN together.

Sivas Science and Technology University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet KUL stated that he will continue to sign cooperation protocols in order to participate in and contribute to the works carried out in line with the domestic and national defense industry goal of our country.
