Turkey Chambers and Stock Exchanges Union (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and several ministers with the participation of TOBB Twin TOBB Turkey Economic Council's opening held at the Towers, in his speech, voiced Aksaray Railway needs.
TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu hosted by Turkey's Council of Economics; President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Vice President Fuat Oktay, Minister of Treasury and Finance Lütfi Elvan, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli, Minister of Trade Ruhsar Pekcan, Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu and TOBB Board Members, via video conference from the TOBB Twin Towers Conference Hall.
In his speech, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu reminded that they launched the Economic Councils in 2003 upon the instruction of President Erdoğan, “You have always been with us since then. You gave very good good news in this hall. You know, this year we could not hold a General Assembly due to the pandemic. But thank you, welcome to the heart of the Turkish business world to listen to our problems and to consult on solutions ”.
Speaking about the economic council in which Aksaray has expressed the need for railways the most in the Central Anatolia Region, ATSO President Göktaş made a statement; “Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic affecting the world, the TOBB Economic Council was held online this year through the Webinar Program. While our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu gave positive messages to our country's economy and business world, Aksaray also expressed the need for railways. The steps we have taken to realize the Ulukışla-Aksaray railway connection as soon as possible have started to bear fruit with each passing day and have started to be expressed on every platform.
