According to the regulation, real estate businesses will not be able to conduct commercial activities other than services subject to real estate trade. On the other hand, it was prevented that shopping center managements had intermediary activities for contractors and site managements apart from leasing activities.

Hakan Akdoğan, President of All Entrepreneurial Real Estate Consultants Association, who gave information about the new regulation, said, “Within the framework of the regulation, contractors will not be able to mediate in the sales and leasing of places other than real estates registered in their names. Especially in the current situation, businesses belonging to contractors operating under the name of second hand sales and leasing offices also have to obtain an authorization certificate. In addition, site managements that arbitrarily block real estate businesses and act as intermediaries will no longer be able to engage in intermediary activities within this scope.

Stating that, within the framework of the new regulation, real estate businesses will be prohibited from posting advertisements for real estate that they are not authorized to buy, sell or rent, Akdoğan said, “Businesses will include the authorization certificate number and contact information in their advertisements for the sale or lease of the property. "They will not be able to disclose the information and documents they have obtained due to the service they provide, except for the principles specified in the authorization agreement." Akdoğan said, “They will present every offer and counter offer they receive to the people they serve in a correct and objective manner as soon as possible in writing or electronically.
