Speaking at the "OSBÜK Consultation Meeting" held with the participation of the Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank, President Kupeli conveyed the problems and demands of the OIZs to the Minister Varank.
Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone (EOSB) Chairman Nadir Küpeli attended the Consultation Meeting of the Organized Industrial Zones Supreme Organization (OSBÜK) with the participation of the Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank. The problems and demands of OIZs were discussed at the meeting, which was held via video conference and attended by 343 OIZ presidents and regional managers.
Speaking at the consultation meeting, Chairman Küpeli stated that organized industrial zones should be represented in various boards in the provinces and said, “We are experiencing difficulties regarding Development Agencies. We want Organized Industrial Zones to take part in the management of development agents and demand representation. Another problem is YEKDEM prices. We want YEKDEM prices to be reduced. As an OIZ that distributes natural gas, we suffer from natural gas distribution. OIZs cannot be legally represented in the Provincial Sanitation and Provincial Employment and Vocational Training Boards. There are 45 thousand people working in Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone, but we are represented in the Provincial Employment Board with the approval of our Dear Governor, but it will be appropriate to arrange this with a regulation. In another important issue, the SSI issued a regulation for those who lost their lives due to Covid-19 in their workplaces, but we want this to be regulated by law. The definition of SMEs, which is an issue that concerns many of our SMEs, needs to be updated again according to the current conditions ”.
Connection road must be made
President Küpeli also touched on the construction of the Eskişehir OSB-Hasanbey Logistics Center railway connection road. Stating that they are ready to do whatever falls on them as Eskişehir OIZ management, Küpeli conveyed to Minister Varank that the connection road should be done as soon as possible.

Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank stated that they will make an evaluation regarding the definition of SME, and said, "We will solve the problems at the railway connection road and crossroads" regarding the construction of the connection roads of Eskişehir.
