Stating that they have invested over 4 billion 355 million liras and implemented very important projects for the development of Hakkari's transportation infrastructure, our Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “In 2003, we built 1 kilometers of new divided road in Hakkari, which is only 18 kilometer divided road, in 95 years. "We are continuing our work on 5 different highways projects such as Başkale-Hakkari Separation-Yüksekova-Esendere Road, Şemdinli-Alan Road, Yüksekova Ring Road with a project value of 114 billion 16 million TL."

Later, Karaismailoğlu visited the City Crossing construction site and received information from the authorities about the work carried out on the Hakkari-Van highway. Then, together with our General Manager Uraloğlu, he passed to the Yeni Köprü Yüksekova Tunnel Construction Site on the Van-Yüksekova highway and inspected the final status of the works.

Minister Karaismailoğlu stated that 7 kilometers of the Esendere Güvenlik Mahallesi road will be asphalt, and said, “Our New Bridge Yüksekova Tunnel Construction Site, which we are examining today, is an important point of the Başkale-Hakkari junction, Yüksekova-Esendere road construction. With this project we are running, we are building a divided road with a total length of 75 kilometers. We have completed 1 kilometers of road construction, 88 kilometers of which are surface coating and 50 kilometers of bituminous hot mixture coating, in the road construction project costing 4 billion 54 million lira. In addition, we made a bituminous hot mix coating on the 28,5-kilometer section of which the construction has been completed. We have also completed the 445-meter Saritas Tunnel, ”he said.

Karaismailoğlu stated that they will complete the 500-meter bituminous hot-coated split road, the 151-meter Çığlı Bridge and the 180-meter Dotkan-1 and 159-meter Dotkan-2 bridges, and informed that they will continue to work on the 8 thousand 530-meter double-tube T1 and T2 tunnels. .

Minister Karaismailoğlu also said that they are working to complete the Başkale-Hakkari separation and the Yüksekova-Esendere road in 2021 and put it into the service of the public.
