In this context, Kocaeli Karta HEPP code feature, which is used in public transportation service in Kocaeli, will be introduced. Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality is preparing a new application in order to overcome the epidemic with the least damage and reduce the risk of contamination in this direction, to identify and isolate people in contact with people diagnosed with the disease. Within the scope of the work carried out, the "Life Fit Home" application, prepared by the Ministry of Health for the epidemic period, will be integrated into the Kocaeli Card used in public transportation in Kocaeli.

Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality took action following the circular of the Ministry of Interior General Directorate of Provincial Administration dated 29.09.2020 and numbered 15993 on "HEPP Code Inquiry in Urban Public Transport". In accordance with the circular, the necessary integration will be made between the electronic / smart travel card systems that are tailored to be used in urban public transportation vehicles (bus, metro, metrobus, etc.) and the Ministry of Health Hayat Eve Sığar (HES) application.

When the study is completed, personalized travel cards belonging to citizens diagnosed with Covid19 disease or who are in contact will be automatically suspended during the isolation period. Although he was informed that he had to be in isolation due to being diagnosed with or having a contact with Covid19, the information of people who were found to be using public transportation vehicles will be shared with the Governorship or District Governorships (electronically via the e-Internal Affairs system) through the Ministry of Internal Affairs in order to apply the necessary administrative sanctions and, if necessary, to file a criminal complaint.
