Emirates launches self check-in and baggage delivery kiosks for a faster and easier airport experience at Dubai International Airport Terminal 3. The service is currently offered to passengers traveling to all cities except the USA, Canada, China, India and Hong Kong where there are additional requirements.
Complementing Emirates' check-in counters, 16 new self-service baggage delivery machines and 8 self-service kiosks will improve the passenger experience in Dubai by reducing the waiting time of passengers during peak periods. More self-service facilities are planned to be added in the coming months.
Kiosks allow passengers to check-in, get boarding passes, select seats and deliver luggage. Emirates staff will continue to provide any necessary assistance, vehicles are fully self-service and will allow passengers to quickly cross the airport and proceed directly to passport control counters. Vehicles are regularly cleaned and disinfected, and hand disinfectants are also available for passengers to use.
This new product is part of Emirates' continuous investment in products and services to deliver a unique travel experience on the ground and on board, and has been developed within Emirates in collaboration with Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects and Dubai Airports. Self check-in kiosks will be continually developed to offer new features such as future touchdown and self-rebooking of passengers.
