The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will pay their milk support for the second period of 2020 as 15 Kurus at the end of next week.
In the meeting held in October 2019, the National Milk Council determined the recommended price of raw milk as 15 lira 2019 kuruş from 31 November 2020 until 2 December 30. With this price, the raw milk / feed parity of 1,30, which is accepted by the sector, reached approximately 1,50 levels.
In the first 2020 months of 6, the average raw milk / feed parity was 1,35. Despite the cost increases experienced in recent months, raw milk / feed parity was realized around 10 in the 1,28-month period.
RAW MILK SUPPORT BONUS RISE TO 40 CUNTS
In order to prevent the producers from being affected by the increases in milk production costs due to the pandemic process and the developments in the world markets, the Ministry increased the raw milk support premium amount to 40 kurus in October, November and December. Thus, the raw milk / feed parity will be kept at 1,30 levels.
The support of 40 kuruş for the October-December period will be paid to the growers gradually as of January.
On the other hand, the second period of 2020 milk support will be paid at the end of next week as 2 Kurus.
