ASELSAN Completes Deliveries of ADOP-2000 Project

The deliveries of ADOP-2000, the systems system created by combining the systems from ASELSAN's fire support product family, continue.

The ADOP-2000 (Fire Support Automation System-2000) project was completed within the scope of the second dissemination contract, the second group acceptance activity of the third delivery party, the first of which was completed in July, with the ADESTIM headquarters and artillery battalion surveillance post systems passed successfully.

In the difficult conditions of the epidemic environment, the delivery process was finalized by all stakeholders, especially ASELSAN personnel, without any delay.

Within the scope of the second delivery group, systems in which electro-optic devices were integrated were delivered to the Land Forces Command, while the number of troops equipped with ADOP-2000 systems reached twenty, and the total number of systems delivered reached over 1.100.

Artillery troops important strength: ADOP-2000

ADOP-2000 provides automation of target detection, command, control and technical fire management functions of the fire support in the battlefield, and the implementation of the fire support in full harmony with other battlefield functional areas. It is a C4I system that allows the commander to make the necessary plans to fire with the appropriate weapon system and appropriate ammunition at the appropriate time, implement it, and use the fire support elements in the battlefield with maximum efficiency.

The ADOP-2000 allows weapons (cannons, mortars and multi-barrel rocket launchers) and target detection radars to be included in the automation of the fire support, while allowing the technical fire management functions to be performed for these weapons. In addition, ADOP-2000 ensures that tasks such as meteorology measurement and topographic ground measurement are performed accurately, precisely and rapidly, and the data obtained are transferred to other systems in digital environment.
