The Turkish Railway Summit, organized by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure at Sirkeci Station, has been completed. We invested approximately 907 billion TL in transportation infrastructure. 18 percent of this is railroad. Of course, there are mainly highway investments in this. As of September 2020, investments on roads and railways have come together. Our goal is to pull the highways down a little further and raise the railways a little more. We will completely eliminate our shortcomings there, complete these investments in terms of logistics and offer them to the service of our country ”.
"Sirkeci Station Will Serve as Historical Railway Museum"
Stating that Sirkeci Train Station will be considered as a museum in the coming period, Karaismailoğlu said, “We aim to establish a building with bicycle paths, social areas and recreation areas between Sirkeci Station and Kazlıçeşme. Sirkeci station will also be mostly overhauled and will serve as the 'Historical Railway Museum'. We are preparing a study on this. We have planned it and we will introduce it in a short time. Now, a passenger disembarking from the train will easily reach the place he wants to reach in a short distance with a micro mobility vehicle. "We will start working at Sirkeci Train Station."
