At the 6th China International Commercial Space Forum held in Wuhan, it was reported that the development of China's commercial space industry will continue in the coming period.

The 6th China International Commercial Space Forum was held yesterday in Wuhan, China. In addition to China, more than 200 experts and executives from nine countries participated in the forum, where the latest developments in the commercial space industry and future studies were discussed.

In his speech at the forum, Fu Zhiming, chief engineer of the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC), said CASIC will play a leading role in building the commercial space industry environment that will have a major impact on the global economy. Fu said, “The first term project carried out in the Rocket Industry Zone, built at the Wuhan National Space Industry Base, China's first commercial space industry base, has an annual production capacity of 20 solid fuel carrier rockets. Within the scope of the Satellite Industry Zone first term project, 1-100 satellites below 200 tonne will be produced every year. Production lines are expected to be opened to all businesses that will operate in the commercial space field, ”he said.
