It was announced that a test drive was made for the first time in order to lay a rail between Yerköy and Akdağmadeni line of Ankara, Sivas High Speed Train Line (YHT).
The final stage has been reached in the YHT works, which the citizens of Sivas await with great interest and will reduce the distance between Ankara and Sivas to 2 hours.
It was said that test drives will continue with a ceremony on the route of Yerköy, Yozgat, Sorgun, Akdağmadeni on October 29, 2020.
Most of Ankara, Sivas YHT work has been completed. Work continues in the project, for which most of the rail series has been completed. The project is aimed to be completed by the end of the year. It was reported that the total investment cost of the project, which will reduce the transportation distance of 440 kilometers to 2 hours in total, is 9 billion 749 million TL.

In the statement made by the Governorship of Yozgat, "Yeköy-Sivas YHT Project, which is included in the scope of Yerköy-Sivas High Speed Train Project Superstructure and Electromechanical Works Construction Work, to ensure the continuity of transmission, manufacturing, transportation and control services in order to be completed on the target, planned and desired date, 1 As of September 2020, between Yerköy - Yozgat - Sorgun and Akdağmadeni for 1 month between 22.00 - 06.00, the train set will travel at a certain speed and load on the YHT line.
