Mayor of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç announced new decisions regarding transportation during the inspections he carried out in the city center with Governor Şehmus Günaydın. "We scored a first in Turkey by not standing passengers and have contributed a lot to the pandemic fight," said President Büyükkılıç, face, taking into account that the face will start the training, 40 percent of the capacity of the rail system, the busses 25 percent up standing passengers can be taken stated.

The Governor Şehmus Günaydın and the Mayor, who followed the Mask, Distance and Cleaning inspections in harmony from the very beginning and made all the necessary information to the tradesmen and citizens. Memduh Büyükkılıç, this time met with citizens in Millet Caddesi, Kiçikapı District and Düvenönü, within the scope of the epidemic controls. Warning tradesmen and citizens, especially about masks and social distance, Governor Günaydın and Mayor Büyükkılıç noted that the measures taken during the pandemic were very important.

In his statement, Mayor Büyükkılıç stated that a harmonious work was also performed in the fight against the pandemic in Kayseri, and that the positive results of the culture of adaptation were reflected in the figures and that Kayseri experienced a recovery in the number of cases.

Mayor Büyükkılıç gave the following information in his speech in which he announced new decisions regarding transportation: “Our Kayseri has recovered. It has come to a good point, but we need to continue our measures. We have to show the necessary sensitivity. We love our city. We love our people. We love our country. The measures taken are of course for the peaceful and healthy future of our brothers and sisters living in this city. Our fellow citizens of Kayseri also provide us with the necessary support.

He follows the rules. We thank them. We took a first in Turkey in the course of transportation. We have made the biggest contribution to these issues by continuing the process of not taking the standing passengers for a month. Of course, the fact that face-to-face training is starting will inevitably increase the numbers in transportation. After the 1-month period expired, we put the subject on our agenda again. We made evaluations with our Dear Governor, considering the start of face-to-face training as of Monday. Thanks to us, he always helps us. They helped us to deliver face-to-face training between 10.00 and 16.00 in the morning.

Since the space in the middle of our trams is a little more than buses, we recommended the standing passenger right as fifty percent, but as a result of bargaining, it was decided for 40 percent. This doesn't mean we're going to use 30 percent. It means up to forty percent maximum. We also recommended 25 percent on buses, but it was decided as XNUMX percent. Let's not infer that we will use this necessarily. If it requires standing passenger, it will not exceed this capacity. It is a precaution to eliminate the grievances of our citizens in terms of not being able to get on buses or trams. It should be evaluated like this. If necessary, we make all kinds of sacrifices again. But one fact should not be ignored. Let's not leave our homes unnecessarily for this. Let's not get into crowds unnecessarily. This job is no joke. Let's show sensitivity. We would like to thank our fellow townspeople for their support in these efforts, ”he said.

On the other hand, Governor Şehmus Günaydın stated that the Metropolitan Municipality and Mayor Büyükkılıç resolutely supported the issue of "not taking standing passengers" and that this situation made a great contribution to the fight against the pandemic.
Governor Günaydın said, “We will carry out virus checks in Kayseri, as in all provinces of our country. The purpose of informed inspection is to protect the sensitivity of our citizens in combating the virus. "Raising awareness to higher levels and continuing to be sensitive to our citizens."
