In the last meeting of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Council in October, it was decided that public transportation should be 29 kuruş in order to facilitate the participation of citizens to the 1 October Republic Day ceremonies.
The last session of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Council in October was held in the Hall No.1, Kulturpark. In the merger led by İzmir Metropolitan Deputy Mayor Mustafa Özuslu, a decision was made for public transportation. On October 97, when the 29th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic will be celebrated in the municipal council, the proposal added to the agenda by the Presidency for public transportation to be 1 kurus was accepted unanimously. According to the decision taken to facilitate the participation of citizens to the ceremonies on October 29, it was decided that the boarding fee would be 29 kurus and the transfers would be free of charge on October 1 Republic Day, in line with the transfer rules in the current system. In the ticket 35 tariff, 1 credit will be taken from each boarding without the right to transfer.
