Landscaping is being carried out at the Bus Station Junction, which was built by the General Directorate of Highways and was opened to vehicle traffic a while ago. After the work carried out by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Department of Parks and Gardens, visual richness will be added to the city.
THOUSAND TONS OF CLEAN SOIL LAYED
Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality has started greening works at İzmit Bus Station Köprülü Junction. Within the scope of the works initiated in the region by the teams of the Parks and Gardens Department, 800 tons of waste soil was removed. After the necessary arrangements were made, a thousand tons of clean soil was laid, which will provide a green appearance in the region.
AUTOMATIC IRRIGATION SYSTEM IS INSTALLED
An automatic irrigation system is set up to irrigate green areas prior to greening. After the automatic irrigation system, a visual study will be made under the intersection, where chips of vivid colors will be placed. The intersection and its surroundings will be given an aesthetic appearance with the work to be done using chips and stones. Later, tree planting and germination work will be done.

While the edges of the intersections and roads are enriched visually with the environmental arrangements, it is aimed to expand the green areas created and contribute to the natural wealth and living population of the city.
