Education Paused for a Week in İzmir

Ziya Selçuk, the Minister of National Education, announced that they suspended education for a week after the 6.8-magnitude earthquake in Izmir.

Ziya Selçuk, Minister of National Education, made the announcement on his Twitter account. Minister Selçuk made the following statements in his announcement; “We will heal the wounds together, İzmir. We decided to suspend education for a week throughout the city. As an education family, we will overcome the difficulties together with our students, teachers, administrators and parents by getting closer together "
