MODERN AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY BUSES INCREASE
Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality is expanding its transportation fleet. Continuing its investments for the quality and comfortable transportation of citizens, Metropolitan gains the satisfaction of the citizens with modern natural gas buses for public transportation service throughout the city. With the tender, the number of environmentally friendly natural gas buses will increase by 109.
IN DIFFERENT TYPES
In the tender held by the Department of Transportation, 100 CNG (Natural Gas) fueled, low-floor solo and articulated type public transport buses, 70 solo type (at least 12 meters) with a capacity of at least 80 passengers, 1 disabled passenger, 30 articulated type ( A total of 18 buses, including at least 135 meters) minimum 2 passengers, 100 buses with 7 disabled passengers, 12 diesel powered 2-meter long-distance buses, 7,7 diesel-fueled 10-109-meter long-distance buses will be purchased. 7 companies submitted bids to the tender made through EKAP.
