IMM has implemented a new service at the Grand Istanbul Bus Station, which welcomes Istanbulites with its changing face in the last year. The fourth of the İBB Youth Offices, which were opened to offer different perspectives in many areas such as personal development, education and career planning, started to serve at the bus terminal.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) has added a new one to its Youth Offices aiming to contribute to the development of young people. After Fatih Cağaloğlu, Sarıyer and Fatih, a Youth Office was opened in the Büyük İstanbul Bus Terminal. The office of the IMM President, which includes the education, recreation and activity areas, as well as the guest student and artistic activities department. Imamoglu, who received information about the work to be done for the development of young people in the office, gave instructions that young people who are bus station staff or coming from outside can benefit from the services here.

IMM President Ekrem İmamoğlu also visited the IMM Youth Office, where the works and physical arrangements are made by the Facilities Maintenance and Repair Directorate. President İmamoğlu visited the service units in the office and examined the work done; received information from IMM Youth and Sports Manager İlker Öztürk about the planned trainings, events and activities. During the visit, which was attended by İBB Deputy Secretary General Murat Yazıcı and İBB Support Services Department Head Mansur Güneş, İmamoğlu said, “Our first target audience here should be our young people working at the bus station and buses. We can consider personal development courses for them. With courses such as foreign language, diction and communication, we can find more response with studies targeting the young people who work here first.”
"DEMANDS OF YOUNG PEOPLE WILL SET THE PROGRAMS"
İBB Youth and Sports Manager İlker Öztürk said that all Youth Offices currently in operation are planning by taking into account the demands and expectations of young people. Öztürk stated that at the IMM Youth Office at the bus station, training and activity planning will be made taking into account the demands of the young people working here, the passengers and the young people living in the region.
OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK
IMM Youth Office will serve in the section where the Dolmabahçe Clock Tower figure is located at the bus station. The office, which consists of two floors and has an area of 450 square meters, will be open 7 days a week between 10.00 and 19.00 within the body of the IMM Youth and Sports Directorate.
EDUCATION, RECREATION, COMPUTER AND ACTIVITY AREAS
The office will offer many opportunities to its visitors. A working library and a book cafe with a study area and a recreation area; For in-class trainings, 2 classrooms, intelligence games room, administrative office and recreation area, guest student office, seminar and meeting room, digital and analog playgrounds, artistic activity area, computer training room and terrace will have the opportunity to both relax and socialize. .
MANY TRAINING PROGRAMS WITH DIFFERENT SUBJECTS AND CONTENTS
IMM Youth Office will offer young people new perspectives in many areas such as personal development, education and career planning, and will take participants one step further with the trainings and programs organized. Graphic design, project writing and management, cv preparation and interview techniques, basic computer training, painting, diction, English speaking, rhythm workshop, personal development, photography, calligraphy, entrepreneurship and Turkish (for foreign students) training will be held in the office.
VISITOR STUDENT OFFICE FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
The guest student office will contribute to the adaptation of young people who come to Istanbul for the first time from different cities for university education. Various events will be organized for them in the office and young people will be informed about the cultural, historical and social life of the city. In addition, young people will be able to get information about what works and services IMM conducts for them and how they can benefit from them.
NEW YOUTH OFFICES WILL BE OPENED
In the coming days, new offices are planned to be opened in IMM Cemal Kamacı Sports Complex and Higher Education Örnektepe Student Dormitory.
