Izmir Metropolitan Municipality organized by the Volleyball Federation of Turkey with 18 first-day matches at the European Beach Volleyball Championship begins tomorrow in Selçuk. Tournament to be played without an audience due to the pandemic, İzmirtubewill be broadcast live.

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and Turkey Volleyball Federation jointly organized by the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) U-18 European Beach Volleyball Championship, started with the training of technical meetings and athletes today. Athletes will have their first matches on Thursday, September 17 at Pamucak Beach in Selçuk. It was also announced that 23 athletes from 64 countries for women and 24 athletes from 70 countries for men officially registered in the giant organization and the registrations are still ongoing. During the four-day event, the athletes will climb on the sand in 152 matches. The tournament, which will be played without an audience due to the pandemic rules, Izmirtubewill be broadcast live.

Finals on sunday

Male and female athletes will play the first matches of the tournament with tough battles on four different courts from 09.00:18.00 to 19:16.00 tomorrow. The first three days will be played in group and qualifying matches. In the tough struggles in Pamucak Beach, the last four countries will be determined with the quarterfinal matches of women on September 17.30 at 20 and men at 9.00. The semi-final and final matches of the tournament will be played on 12.00 September. Semi-finals will be between 16.15-17.15. The women's final match will be at 18.15 and the men's final match will be at XNUMX. The award ceremony of the championship will take place at XNUMX.

In the women's category in the organization, Tuana Dincer-Melisa Özsar and Ece Özdemir-Doğa Öcal couples will sweat on the field for our country. Three teams will represent Turkey in the Championship men. Necmi Ayberk Güllük-Batuhan Kuru, Furkan Ramazan Kaplan-Sacit Kurt and Bahadır Utku Keskin-Ahmet Can Tur will be on the court in a crescent-star jersey at the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) U-18 European Beach Volleyball Championship.
