Dörtyol Junction Opened to Traffic with Regulations

Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME) September Meeting was held with the participation of stakeholder institution representatives.

5 agenda items were discussed at the meeting chaired by Coşkun Alp, Secretary General of the Metropolitan Municipality. At the meeting where 4 items were accepted, 1 agenda item was also referred to the sub-commission.

"DORTYOL INTERSECTION IS OPENED TO TRAFFIC WITH REGULATIONS"

Referring to the letter of Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Public Transport Department dated 07.08.2020 and numbered 15861, within the scope of Altınordu Traffic Circulation Project, the request of making the necessary geometric arrangements at the Dörtyol Junction on the Ordu-Giresun highway in Cumhuriyet Mahallesi and opening the intersection to traffic with the new geometric structure was discussed at the meeting. It was decided. In the voting, it was accepted that Dörtyol Intersection would be opened to traffic with its new form.

"WE WILL CONTINUE OUR INTERSECTION LAYOUT WORKS"

Stating that the intersection arrangement studies initiated to minimize the traffic density in the city will continue, General Secretary Coşkun Alp said, “We will continue our intersection arrangement works planned by our Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Public Transport Department at the points we deem necessary. Our crossroads that we have implemented before have been greatly appreciated by our nation. We have also accelerated our work on this subject in order to minimize the traffic density in the city. Studies started by our teams recently have been completed. I believe that this intersection with its new form will make great contributions to minimizing the traffic density of our city ”.
